Ampatuan was also supposed to be arraigned for another graft charge worth P 72 million over the repairs of some school buildings in 2009 but this was reset to September.

The former governor, his brother Andal Jr. and their late father Andal Sr. are the principal suspects in the Maguindanao massacre on November 23, 2009.

58 people, including 32 media workers, were killed in the incident.
