The wake for ten members of the Philippine Marines who died in the fighting with Maute terrorists are being held at the Philippine Marines Headquarters in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Families and fellow soldiers have arrived at Acero Hall in the camp to pay their respects to the fallen combatants.

President Rodrigo Duterte paid his visit to the dead soldiers on Sunday night upon the arrival of the bodies.
Philippine Marines Commanding General Emmanuel Salamat says, the families of the soldiers who died in Marawi City will receive financial assistance from government.
He adds, the children of the soldiers will be given scholarship grants.
