US State Department condoles with PH following Resorts World tragedy

The Department of State of the United States (US) has sent the Philippine government a message of sympathy following the Resorts World Manila attack in Pasay City just before midnight last Thursday.

The US has released a press statement for this purpose.

In her message, US State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert said, “we offer our deepest condolences to the loved ones and friends of those who were killed at Resorts World Manila early June 1.”

She further said, “we hope for speedy recovery of those who were injured.”

Nauert stressed, “in the face of this tragedy, the United States proudly stands with the Philippines and will continue to support efforts to achieve peace, security and prosperity for their country.”
