Aerial imaging technology now more accessible

AT LAST, the latest aerial imaging technology has been made more accessible for Filipinos. 

This, after MSI-ECS, a leading IT equipment distributor in the Philippines, partnered with DJI to become its authorized distributor of top of the line products in the Philippines including the just released Phantom 4.

The local IT distributor’s partnership with the world’s leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging technology will also involve an array of DJI products, including the smallest, most compact, foldable drone, the Mavic Pro, the iconic Phantom drone series, the ready to fly professional platform for filmmakers the Inspire 2, as well as handheld gimbals from the Osmo series.

The executive also bared his confidence that the “future of technology” will make waves in the country, especially among the millennials and young professionals. 

“In the Philippines, the interest and usage of civilian drones have also grown dramatically and we are confident that its use for commercial purposes will gain momentum and the addition of drones to our impressive portfolio will not only boost our offerings but also enable us to anticipate market changes,” he added. 

DJI products will be on shelves in more than 50 retail outlets in the consumer electronics, photography, hobbyist and lifestyle channels across the Philippines.

“This partnership will enable us to bring our best-in-class aerial platforms and imaging solutions across the Philippines so that more people can learn about the technology and better understand what it can do for them,” said Kevin On, DJI’s Director of Communication.

Meanwhile, the newly improved Phantom 4, will give photographers a 1-inch, 20-megapixel sensor and a mechanical shutter. It is also equipped with many of the intelligent features offered on the Phantom 4 Pro, including Draw, ActiveTrack, TapFly, Gesture, Tripod and the FlightAutonomy system.
