The Professional Regulation Commission office in Manila received a bomb threat, disrupting work of the agency on Friday.
Employees and people who have transactions with the office were ordered out of the building as security personnel put the area in lockdown.
Roads leading to PRC were closed, as authorities prevented people to go near the agency's compound.
Manila Police District investigators said a security guard received information regarding a bomb threat in the PRC.
The security guard alerted their officer-in-charge.
The OIC then alerted police authorities regarding the bomb threat.
Police declined to give details as to how the threat was received.
The PRC canceled all work and transactions in the office until such time the MPD bomb squad had cleared the area.
