The combined team of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) have arrested the alleged commander of the New People’s Army in Western Mindanao.
The suspect has been identified as Rommel Salinas.

He was nabbed in Barangay Gago, Ozamiz City in Misamis Occidental.
Salinas is reportedly the secretary of the NPA’s Regional Party Committee in Western Mindanao.
He is subject of 5 warrants of arrest for murder, frustrated murder, attempted murder, robbery in band and destructive arson.
