The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is conducting pursuit operations against alleged members of New People’s Army (NPA) who occupied an area in Del Gallego, Camarines Sur.
Soldiers were able to seize the camp following a clash with the suspected rebels in Barangay Bagong Silang.

The area was previously controlled by the alleged insurgents who had set up about 50 makeshift tents.
Residents reported the activities and movements of the alleged NPAs in their barrio to government troops.
The military seized several firearms, ammunitions and explosive devices from the operation.
