The Metro Manila Mayors’ Spouses Foundation Inc. led by its president Janet Olivarez (third from left), wife of Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez, donated a unit of Ostrea Vent, a locally made medical ventilator for premature infants with respiratory conditions to the Philippine General Hospital recently. Filipino neonatologists Dr. Enrique Ostrea Jr. (second from left), headed the team of University of the Philippines engineers and the Department of Science and Technology have corroborated to formulate the equipment.
