The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) maintains that Crisis Alert Number 4 is up over Syria.
This means that mandatory repatriation of Filipinos from Syria continues.

DFA Spokesperson Charles Jose says, this alert level has been in place since the political turmoil and civil war in Syria began.
The DFA continues to assist Filipinos who are seeking repatriation.
About 1,400 Filipinos live in Syria.
Jose reports that no Filipino has been hurt so far in the ongoing air strikes launched by the United States.
He says, representatives of the DFA are in touch with the Filipino community in Damascus.
