Janella Salvador
The young singer-actress couldn’t contain her happiness as evidenced by her recent Instagram post. Janella thanked the people who supported her self-titled debut album that sold over 15,000 units. She knows that sales of physical album these days is really bad, so for a record to be certified, not mention be awarded with Platinum recognition, is already a feat in itself.
Alden Richards
Television’s golden boy, who also happens to be last year’s most successful recording artist in terms of the number of records sold, once again has proven his clout. Three days after the tickets to his Upsurge concert at the Kia Theater went on sale, fans started complaining they could no longer buy any ticket. As a response, GMA Records announced that the show has been sold out. Iba ka Alden!
Darna
Since ABS-CBN, Star Cinema, and Angel Locsin mutually arrived at a decision that she would no longer pursue the much anticipated movie, fans have been active online visiting and commenting on different blogsites and forums defending why their idols deserve to play the iconic role. But that’s nothing to what Angel’s supporters are planning to do; they wanted to stage a walk to protest ABS-CBN for not fulfilling its promise to revive Darna with Angel playing the coveted role. By the looks of it, the Darna fever is far from over.

Meg Imperial
After being with ABS-CBN for a year, she returned to TV5 via a series no one has even heard of, and then she went back to ABS-CBN again to be part of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano cast. Now, the sexy star is starring in GMA News and Public Affairs production entitled D’ Originals. We wonder what she’d do next or which network she’d be working for. One thing is sure though, she was given big breaks but no follow ups ever happened.
Aljur Abrenica
The soon-to-be father is under a lot of stress of late. First, GMA Network did not renew his talent management contract, which expired just last week. Then, a radio announcer called out his attention for his outstanding debt worth P1.3 million, the remaining balance for the house he bought for P19 million. As far as we are aware, his mother network tried its best to fulfill the contract by giving him assignments and projects. We guess the problem was the actor who could not deliver the goods.
Case Solved
After six episodes, the crime documentary is now a closed case. The Dingdong Dantes hosted docudrama is being replaced by Ika-6 na Utos for a reason we can only assume. Could it be that the show has been given the axe because of its underwhelming performance? Was the March 25 episode really meant to be its season ender? Well, your guess is just as good as ours.
