New Presidential Security Group commander named

Malacañang announces the Presidential Security Group has a new head.

He is Colonel Lope Dagoy, who belongs to Philippine Military Academy (PMA) ‘Hinirang’ Class of 1987.

Prior to the appointment, Dagoy served as President Rodrigo Duterte’s senior military adviser.

Dagoy assumed his new post yesterday.

He replaced PSG Commander Brigadier General Rolando Bautista.

Bautista will now head the Army’s First Infantry Division based in Pagadian City.

He will be at the helm of military operations against the Abu Sayyaf.
