The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has placed Luzon grid at yellow power alert on Wednesday.
A yellow alert means power supply has decreased to a level below the required reserve of 647 megawatts (MW).

This status takes effect from 10 am up to 4 pm today.
NGCP says, the operations of nine power plants are down at the moment.
