Muntinlupa RTC gives NBI custody of Ragos

Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Juanita Guerrero has allowed former National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Deputy Director and Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Officer-in-Charge Rafael Ragos at the NBI Detention Center.

This is in response to the motion filed by NBI Special Agent Redentor Valdez.

Valdez had cited as reason the fact that Ragos was a former official of the bureau.

The NBI Security Management Section will now take custody of Ragos.

Ragos surrendered on Sunday to NBI Deputy Director for Intelligence Sixto Burgos in Quezon City.

He is a respondent to drug charges filed by the Department of Justice, along with Senator Leila De Lima and Ronnie Dayan.
