Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) recently threw its support behind the proposed Philippine Development Plan, of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA). The plan proposes the establishment of Metro Cagayan de Oro (CDO) as the country’s fourth economic center, alongside Metro Manila, Metro Cebu and Metro Davao, by 2025. Aside from Cagayan de Oro, the northern Mindanao region comprises the provinces of Bukidnon, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental and Camiguin. Italpinas is solidly set up in CDO through its flagship project, the seven-building mixed-use development, Primavera Residences (See photo), which has helped grow the northern Mindanao region into a metropolis and economic center.
