DedEd Secretary Leonor Briones has met with officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways for the formation of a Technical Working Group that will implement the project.

This year, DepEd has a budget of P 109 billion for the construction of classrooms for K to 12, workshop laboratories and repair of old buildings.

This development comes, following President Rodrigo Duterte and Briones' visit and inspection of Surigao del Norte, which was hit by a magnitude 6.7 earthquake on Friday last week.
