The Land Transportation, Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) warns, the franchise of  jeepney drivers who joined the work stoppage will be revoked.

The agency and transport leaders are conducting a dialogue today on transport modernization.

Meanwhile, University of Sto. Tomas (UST) has suspended its classes as of Monday noon.

It cited the transportation problems its students and teachers are encountering as an effect of the strike.

Some jeepney organizations are protesting the planned phase out of old jeepney units.
