The number of Filipino families who are victimized by crimes goes down.
In a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey conducted during the fourth quarter of 2016, the number of families who said they were victims of common crimes dropped to 4.9 percent.

This represents 3.1 million families.
The 4.9 percent is lower than the 6.8 percent recorded during the third quarter of last year.
The fourth quarter survey was done from December 3 to 6, 2016.
1,500 respondents participated in face-to-face interviews made across the country.
