The alleged killer of Korean businessman Jee Ick Joo has a declared total asset of more than P 17 million.
His Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) for 2015 was revealed by PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Director Chief Supt. Roel Obusan during Thursday’s Senate investigation into the death of Jee.
Obusan also disclosed, Sta. Isabel has P 14 million in assets, as well as real and personal properties worth P 2.9 million.
He also has 5 houses and lots in Caloocan City and a four-storey commercial building in Cubao, Quezon City.
The cop also owns four vehicles, including a 2014 Toyota Hi-Lux and a 2012 Toyota Vios.
Sta. Isabel told the Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs that it was his wife, Jinky, who made their assets grow.
Jinky supposedly received commissions from her insurance business.
Sta. Isabel’s net worth in 2014 was P 20 million.
Committee Chairperson Panfilo Lacson told police investigators to pursue a financial investigation into the assets of all persons involved in the killing of Jee.
