President Rodrigo Duterte expressed his delight upon seeing the 84 candidates of Miss Universe pageant.
The ladies paid the President courtesy call in Malacañang on Monday afternoon.

He said, “I have never been in my life in a room full of beautiful ladies. This is a rare privilege and honor and I hope this day will never end.”
“I usually do not read my speech. But I am told that I must behave in my language that will characterize your beauty,” Duterte remarked, drawing laughter from his guests.
Duterte added, he forgets the troubles of governing and the problems of the presidency when he is this kind of company.
“God must be good. When we look at you, we forget the universe,” he said.
