Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno has ordered the suspension of work in all courts in Cagayan de Oro City (CDO).
Sereno says, it is extremely difficult and dangerous for court personnel to get to the offices in CDO due to flooding in several areas caused by heavy rains.

She adds, work suspension on Tuesday will allow court employees to secure their families and ensure their safety.
The Court of Appeals Mindanao Station is based in CDO.
The city has been placed under state of calamity.
