The Builders are in the same situation as the AFP Cavaliers and the BFP Firefighters, with all three teams holding the same 4-4 win-loss record.

Builders Head Coach Silverio “Bennet” Palad III said their last two games are important.

They need to win them all in order to proceed on the next round.

“Yung last two games namin mahalaga. Kailangan naming manalo para makapasok kami sa apat kasi isang talo kami ma-out kami eh, kaya medyo delikado nga kaya kailangan na manalo,” said Palad.

On the other hand, the Kamao are determined to recover from three straight loses after a five-game winning streak in 2016.

In the first game, BFP Firefighters will try to tarnish BOC Transformers’ flawless record in their 2 p.m. showdown.

BFP also needs to win against the NHA on January 29 to have a grip on a quarter finals seat.

On the third game, the battle of former two-time champions, AFP and the  Judiciary squad are set at 5 p.m.

Judiciary currently has a 7-1 record while the AFP, 4-4 with a 2-game losing streak.

They are considered a rejuvenated team this season with the addition of former professional player Chester Tolomia with the help from former PBA players Don Camaso, Ariel Capus and Warren Ybañez.
