Joint operatives of the Philippine National Police conducted a raid at the Islamic Center in Carlos Palanca Street, Quiapo, Manila.
The move is prompted by information that there exists a security threat to the procession of the Black Nazarene on Monday.
Police brought at least 80 persons to the Manila Police District Headquarters for verification and profiling to check if they have pending warrants of arrest.
Some of the individuals were allegedly caught in possession of guns, illegal drugs and grenades.
The cops were holding several search warrants and warrants of arrest when they raided the Islamic Center.
They arrived on board about 20 police vehicles and some 6X6 trucks.
