Naval school facelift finished

San Antonio, Zambales—The SM Foundation has renovated the Naval Education and Training Command Station Hospital here, the 15th military health facility made over by the mall operator’s social responsibility arm.

The NETC Station Hospital now boasts of a better environment to address the health and medical needs of men and women in uniform. It includes a consultation room, emergency room, male and female observation wards, radiology room, officers ward, a pharmacy, a delivery and labor room, pantry, supply room, washrooms with shower, and an administration office.

The NETC is the Philippine Navy’s learning institution, providing education and training to naval personnel for them to advance their naval careers.

SM Foundation has been improving and refurbishing military and police health facilities to pay tribute to the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police personnel.

Other facilities the foundation has renovated are the Heroes Ward and Orthopedic Ward of the AFP Medical Center (V. Luna Hospital); the Air Force General Hospital in Pasay City; the NAVSOG Sick Bay in Sangley, Cavite; Air Force City Hospital in Clark, Pampanga; Camp General Aguinaldo Station Hospital in Quezon City; and Fernando Air Base Hospital in Lipa City.

The Police National Training Institute in Canlubang, Laguna; Camp Nakar Station Hospital in Lucena, Quezon; Fort Magsaysay Station Hospital in Cabanatuan; Pediatric Ward of the AFP General Hospital in Pasay City; outpatient ward of the Villamor Hospital in Pasay; the Fort Del Pilar Station Hospital in Baguio City; and Convalescence Ward of the AFPMC also gained SM Foundation’s support.
