The Department of Justice (DOJ) has released a lookout bulletin order against Macau-based gaming tycoon Yin Lok Lam alias Jack Lam.
The order was given to Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente.
The order comes, following President Rodrigo Duterte’s instruction for the immediate arrest of Lam, who is allegedly involved in corruption of public officers and economic sabotage.
Lam allegedly attempted to bribe Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre and Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation Chairperson Andrea Domingo.
The bribe attempt supposedly happened after over 1,300 Chinese were nabbed in a raid on November 24, 2016 for illegally working at Fontana Leisure Parks and Casino in Clark, Pampanga.
The record of the Bureau of Immigration shows Lam left the country on November 29, 2016.
