A 32-year-old Russian woman was arrested by customs authorities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport after more than 12 kilos of high-grade cocaine, worth P64 million, was found in her luggage.
The authorities identified the woman as Anastasha Novopashina, who was arrested after drug enforcers found 12,781 grams of high-grade cocaine was found in her luggage after she arrived on board Emirates Air Flight EK332 from Sao Paolo, Brazil via Dubai.

Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon said the bureau received intelligence report from the United States anti-narcotics authorities about the impending arrival of the alleged Russian drug mule.
