Brassieres for breast cancer awareness

Coobie Philippines gave away more than P100,000 worth of Pink Peony Coobie Bras and vouchers to lucky participants of ICanServe Foundation’s Zumba fitness party event to raise awareness on breast cancer.

October is world breast cancer awareness month and Coobie partnered with ICanServe Foundation, the country’s leading breast cancer support network and advocacy group.

The bra brand is bringing to the Philippines for the first time the Pink Bra giveaway which it has been holding exclusively for US residents for several years.

Through ICanServe’s Zumba fitness party, Coobie hopes to give the message that Filipina breast cancer patients, survivors and their families are well-supported by the community as they go through their journey of battling the disease all the way towards recovery.

“Coobie Philippines is very glad to be a part of ICanServe’s campaign to spread information on promoting early breast cancer detection through the annual Zumba fitness party,” said Abbey Hinto, owner at Dei Fiori Trading, exclusive distributor of Coobie bras in the Philippines.

Coobie bras have long been a favorite of ladies who have undergone either mastectomy, reconstruction or are going through chemotherapy sessions as it provides superior comfort on sensitive areas and has proved to be an inexpensive alternative to pricey post-operative undergarment support. In the US, Coobie is also a long-time partner of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
