AN earthquake of magnitude 5 rocked Quezon province and parts of Metro Manila, including Quezon City, on Thursday at 3:10 p.m.
The quake’s epicenter was located 24 kilometers northwest of General Nakar, Quezon. It was of tectonic origin, the quake hit at a depth of 13 kilometers.

The quake was felt at intensity 5 in General Nakar, Quezon, intensity 4 in Antipolo City, while an intensity 3 was felt in Quezon City, Marikina City, Manila, Makati City, Tarlac City and San Juan City. An intensity 2 was felt in Taguig City and Mandaluyong City.
