Sandiganbayan has imposed a three-month suspension on North Cotabato Governor Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza.
The anti-graft court ruled that the governor should not report for work pending her trial for alleged violation of the Anti-graft and Corrupt Practices Act.

Mendoza is facing graft charges for alleged questionable purchase of diesel worth P 2.4 million from the gas station which her mother owned.
The transaction took place in 2010.
The Ombudsman had said, no bidding was held for the procurement of fuel by the provincial government of North Cotabato.
