As early as 4 am on Wednesday, train operations of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 3 was already suspended in one station.
This happened because the train track at the North Avenue station was being repaired.

Security guards told commuters to go to Quezon Avenue Station if they wanted to take southbound train rides.
The suspension of the train operations took nearly an hour and a half.
On Tuesday, the MRT was also marred by technical problems three times throughout the day.
Glitch in the signalling system was cited as among the causes.
At least 600,000 commuters ride the MRT and the LRT daily.
