Two Manila inmates hurt in protest

TWO people were hurt as inmates of the Manila City Jail held a noise barrage on Thursday morning demanding the ouster of the jail warden Supt. Gerald Bantag.

During the protest, gunshots were heard in the jail and two people were hurt during the noise barrage. 

Units of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology and Manila Police District Special Weapons and Tactics team were on site.
