The House Committee on Public Information is conducting a hearing on measures relating to the enactment of Freedom of Information (FOI) Act.
The committee is tackling 31 versions of the bill and one resolution pertaining to FOI.

Lawmakers have also collated 23 privilege speeches delivered by fellow House members on the issue.
During the 16th Congress, a House bill passed the committee level but it failed to reach the second reading.
