Senator Franklin Drilon says, the Senate will ask the family of Senator Miriam Santiago when they may hold necrological services for her.
He says, he feels a personal loss with the demise of Santiago because they were classmates from 1961 to 1969.

Senator Richard Gordon describes Santiago as a pillar government leader.
He says, the youth must study the life of Senator Santiago as she had set a very fine example of a public official.
Gordon says, Santiago had wide knowledge and opinion on any subject matter.
Senators Panfilo Lacson, Grace Poe and Sonny Angara are also among the lawmakers who have sent their messages of condolonces to Santiago’s family.
