THE Philippine Veterans Affairs Office inaugurated on Friday a new building for its Veterans Records and Management Division as it celebrated its 44th founding anniversary.
The facility will house and integrate all records of veterans and their dependents, PVAO administrator Ernesto Carolina said.
These records are the 201 files or the pensioners/veterans records of both deceased and active pensioners and these will be consolidated into one veteran file which will be transferred from the Bonifacio Hall and the former VRMD facility to the new building, which is located at the PVAO compound in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
Files gathered from the year 2001 to the present will also be stored there. As a pension management institution, records are the lifeblood of PVAO, highlighting the importance of the facility.
