THE Philippine Airlines check-in system at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport-Terminal 2 went down Friday afternoon prompting its management to manually check-in passengers.
This was disclosed by Manila International Airport Authority- Public Affairs Department chief Connie Bungag. She said at press time, airport maintenance and technical personnel are fixing the glitch.
PAL spokesperson Ma. Cielo Villaluna apologized for the inconvenience encountered departing passengers caused by the problem.
In a statement, Villaluna said PAL check-in system in International Wing of Naia Terminal 2 experienced a technical glitch beginning 4:50 p.m.
“PAL is now carrying out manual check in procedures as it assures passengers that is has coordinated with concerned service provider and entitles to resolve the problem soonest. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this technical issue,” she said.
