VIENTIANE—Presidential Consultant on Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion will chair the Asean Business Advisory Council (Asean-BAC) next year, when the Philippines leads in hosting the 10-member regional bloc’ business forum by 2017.
“My father was Asean Business Advisory Council chair for many years. And it is an honor to be appointed as the incoming Asean-BAC chair for next year. We did well in the Apec Summit last year and as I assume the chairmanship of Asean, we hope to have the same active participation of the entrepreneurship community and the whole country,” Concepcion said, as he received the chairmanship.
The Philippines is the incoming host of the ASEAN Summit 2017 and Concepcion will serve as the host Chair for ASEAN-BAC from the private sector.
