PNP tackles public safety with security agencies

PNP Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOCIA) is holding a meeting with heads of private security agencies at PNP Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City on Wednesday morning.

PNP SOCIA Acting Chief Jose Mario Espino says, the event relates to the PNP’s anti-crime operations.

Representatives of shopping malls and schools are also in the meeting.

Espino says, several establishments and campuses have been receiving threats to security in the past days, so it is important to review safety precautions and raise people’s level of alertness.
