The Sandiganbayan has suspended Senator JV Ejercito for 3 months or 90 days.
This stems from the graft case he is facing at the Fifth Division of the anti-graft court.

Ejercito is charged for the procurement of P 2.1-million worth of high-powered firearms in 2008, back when he was still San Juan mayor.
The Sandiganbayan resolution states, the senator is suspended unless he promptly files a motion for reconsideration.
