AFP overruns ASG camp in Basilan

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has crushed an Abu Sayyaf lair in Basilan.

Soldiers from the Western Mindanao Command and the Philippine Army’s Fourth Special Forces Batallion led the operations against the bandits in Silang Kum, Tipo-Tipo, Basilan.

Found in Abu Sayyaf’s camp were some weapons and tools used in manufacturing explosive devices.

They also discovered tunnels dug by the ASG in the area.
