Daiichi Properties recently topped off the World Plaza to celebrate completing of the building’s structural phase. Hailed at the 2015 Asia-Pacific Property Awards as the Best Office Development, World Plaza is slated to open in 2016, one of three Daiichi developments in BGC. Eric Manuel, vice president for business development at Daiichi Properties, said the developer uses tperformance-based structural assessment technology to determine how to best achieve above-standards structural reliability for their buildings, with emphasis on earthquake and typhoon resistance. He added added that the company continues its efforts to use green technology in all of their projects, in line with what experts see as a more aggressive global stand towards this initiative.
