This 2016, Watsons takes the campaign to an entirely new level with the Switcher Surprise promo. Held on Jan. 26 and 28 at SM Mall of Asia, several lucky shoppers had an unbelievable surprise waiting for them behind the “red curtain.”
At designated hours of the day, a certain Watsons Label product was “marked” with a special sticker and the shopper who picked the item was declared winner. The products included a wide range of selected products from personal care to generic drugs like Watsons Glutathione, Watsons Travel Hair Dryer, Watsons Argan Oil Hair Conditioner, Watsons Body Scrub, Watsons Collagen, and Watsons Breath Strips, among others.
The winner was then escorted to a booth near the entrance of the store, where she was asked to open the curtains to reveal one of the celebrity ambassadors who presented them with an unbelievable prize. Among the were an LED TV, travel packages, gadgets, shopping money, and a grand prize of P50,000.00.

Never in her wildest dreams did Angie Mendoza think that buying a Watsons Herbal Mouthwash, would reward her with P50,000.00. The retired nurse couldn’t believe her eyes as Christian Bautista stood smiling when she opened the curtains and was almost shocked when the balladeer gave her a check for P50,000. “I still couldn’t believe it, I just grabbed the Watsons Mouthwash and lined up at the pharmacy to get some Watsons vitamins, when they approached me and told me I won something. Then I saw Christian Bautista and he was giving me a giant P50,000 check! I still couldn’t believe it,” Mendoza said still shaking in excitement.
Jennifer Ariesgado and her fiancé Andrew Wraywere shocked when they won a Samsung LED TV set just by purchasing Watsons Wipes. “She uses it for wiping the stains I get on my shirt, and we’re just overjoyed, about winning!” Wray who is visiting from Pennsylvania said.
Contract nurse Esther Blanco, from Houston, Texas, was on her way to the airport but decided to do some last minute shopping at Watsons. She purchased Watsons Generics Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and a few other personal essentials, after paying at the cashier she was brought to the booth where Lorna Tolentino was waiting to award her with a HongKong Travel Package. “I came home for a reunion with my classmates at FEU, now I think I have to file another leave so I can enjoy my trip to HongKong! Thank you Watsons for this wonderful surprise,” she said.
Julie Mamhot, another balikbayan,was in town recently. She is a pharmacist based in Edmonton, Canada. She said they were actually planning a Boracay trip, but thanks to her purchase of Watsons Twin Blade Disposable Razor, all she has to do is choose a date as she won a travel package to Boracay.
Call center agent Loralyn Campos said she would drop by Watsons almost everyday before going to work at one of the BPOs located nearby.
