TP Philippines was awarded the Gold Award for Community Support and Engagement at the inaugural AmCham Corporate Social Impact Awards, highlighting TP’s sustained community efforts through its Citizen of the World (COTW) Foundation.
The award recognizes COTW’s impact in 2024 alone, having raised at least Php 9 million through donations and partnerships, devoted over 16,000 volunteer hours across 27 sites, and impacted more than 24,000 lives through 43 community outreach efforts.
These initiatives include support for vulnerable children and the elderly, and environmental campaigns under its Citizen of the Planet (COTP) initiative, which has contributed a 46% cut in carbon emissions per employee across Philippine operations.
COTW continues to champion inclusive, long-term impact through initiatives like the Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y), which in 2024 mobilized P5 million in donations and trained 944 vulnerable youth in rural areas for employment.
TP also sustains its support for the TP Village in Tanay, Rizal, providing housing, community centers, and aid for 100 families. These efforts reflect TP’s commitment to being a Force of Good, further exemplified by the award-winning TP STEP program with the Pasig City LGU, which equips marginalized individuals with skills for careers in the IT-BPM sector.
