The Employees’ Compensation Commission (ECC) and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), both attached agencies of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), have joined forces to ensure that the planned Workers Rehabilitation Center Complex (WRCC) in Tanay, Rizal, will meet all relevant industry standards and technical specifications. The convergence is in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.’s commitment to advancing workers’ welfare through intensified collaborative government efforts.
DOLE Secretary and ECC Chairperson Bienvenido E. Laguesma and PRC Chairperson Charito A. Zamora, represented by PRC Assistant Commissioner Lord Louis P. Valera, formalized the partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement signed recently in Pampanga with DOLE Undersecretary Felipe N. Egargo, Jr., and ECC Executive Director Kaima Via B. Velasquez as witnesses.
Under the agreement, ECC and PRC will work closely to ensure that all project technical documents, including the Terms of Reference, adhere to established industry standards and specifications.
