Leading the evening’s visual storytelling is designer Rhon Balagtas, a rising name in  Philippine fashion and a proud advocate of heritage and sustainability. Her debut solo gala  features original creations that reflect timeless elegance and the enduring courage of the  modern Filipina. Each piece pays homage to local artisans, indigenous weaves, and the  cultural richness of the Philippines.

Adding star power to the runway are some of the country’s most beloved beauty queens, led  by the Philippines’ first Miss Universe, Gloria Diaz, joined by Bea Santiago, Wynwyn  Marquez, and Nina Ricci Alagao. They will walk alongside esteemed philanthropists and  advocates, while musical icons Ima Castro and Lani Misalucha elevate the evening with their  soulful performances with the direction of Jason Donato.

As a proud host of the gala, Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria also highlights its ongoing  commitment to sustainability and community impact values deeply woven into the fabric of the  event. “At Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, we believe that true hospitality goes beyond  service—it’s about creating meaningful experiences and supporting purposeful causes,” said  Patria Puyat, Cluster General Manager of Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn & Suite Manila  Galleria. “Her Story is not only a celebration of women’s achievements, but also a reflection  of our advocacy for sustainability, cultural preservation, and giving back to the community. We  are honored to provide a stage where fashion meets purpose.”

The event is a collaboration between Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria and JMG Infinity Events,  a premier events company with over 30 years of experience in producing high-impact  corporate and social events in partnership with leading organizations across industries, both  locally and internationally. Proceeds from the gala will benefit Project PEARLS, a non-profit  organization committed to uplifting underprivileged Filipino communities through its core  values of Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love, and Smiles. “As the lights dim and the  first model walks the runway, the message is clear: fashion is more than beauty—it is a  powerful voice for women, echoing strength, freedom, and the countless milestones that  shape their story,” said Ruby Guiyab, Founder and CEO of JMG Infinity Events.

As part of the #HerStory Milestone Event at 3 PM, up-and-coming fashion designers from the  Fashion Institute in the Philippines present the matinee “Threads of the World: A Global  Heritage.” This groundbreaking fashion show celebrates global traditions through  contemporary design. Featuring traditional garments from Asia, Africa, the Americas, Europe,  and Oceania, the show highlights exquisite craftsmanship, rich cultural narratives, and a spirit  of unity. With a unique runway experience and a powerful finale, “Threads of the World”  promises to leave audiences inspired by the beauty and heritage woven into every piece.
