Budding rivalries and exciting new partnerships are set to take center stage in Season 15 of MPL Philippines, the country’s longest-running esports league.
Powered by sponsors INFINIX, Smart, Timezone, and TTRacing, MPL Philippines Season 15 will see eight teams battle it out for the prestigious title of “Kings of MPL Philippines” and a massive prize pool of USD 150,000 (approximately PHP 8.7 million).
The top two teams to reach the Grand Finals will also represent the country at the MLBB Mid-Season Cup later this year.

The tournament will have a scoring system format, wherein the rankings are determined through points according to match wins. Teams are also allowed to transfer players within the whole MLBB esports ecosystem during the tournament, with free agents going through MDL before entering MPL PH.
With the departure of Blacklist International and RSG Philippines, they will be replaced with two new esports giants: Twisted Minds PH and Team Falcons. They will be joined by returning teams ONIC Philippines, Aurora, AP.Bren, Smart Omega, Team Liquid Philippines and TNC Pro Team.
The tournament schedule is up and available for checking on the MPL Philippines’ official Facebook page. To start things off, a sequel on the clash of the past and the present, Twisted Minds on their debut game as an organization will face-off against the heavy favorites in Aurora.
MPL-PH Season 15 is set to begin on February 28 at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati. ML:BB fans and esports enthusiasts may opt to watch the action unfold at the venue, with ticket prices starting at P200. It will also be broadcasted online on the official MPL Philippines and MLBB channels.
MPL and the community
Aside from the pro league competition, there’s a lot in store for the fans and ML:BB community, brought upon by MPL Philippines’ partners.
Continuing their partnership with MPL Philippines and service to the ML:BB fans and enthusiasts, Smart is looking to resume their Battle Trips this year, where fans are treated to a live MPL experience and learn about the opportunities in the growing esports industry in the Philippines.
Infinix is also set to launch its Gaming Masterclass program during the course of the tournament. Fans can also look forward to the fun and entertainment brought by Timezone and TTEsports as MPL Philippines’ new partners in esports.
Two competitive events are also set to take place this year. The MLBB Student Leaders Collegiate Cup is set to return this year, with its champion heading to compete in the MLBB Development League PH Season 6.
The inaugural all-female tournament Athena League is also set to host the qualifying tournament for the upcoming MLBB Women’s Invitational featured in the Esports World Cup.
