Paola Huyong’s Siesta Horchata announced that it will close its Quezon City branch in November.
On Saturday, Sept. 27, in a statement posted on Instagram, the café thanked all its patrons for showing support.
“This little dream of ours started with one goal—to bring you a moment of comfort, joy, and sweetness in every sip. And you gave that back to us tenfold,” the statement read.
It added that whether customers were regular visitors or first-timers, they became part of the “Siesta Family.”

The café, located on Scout Santiago in the same building as businesses owned by “It’s Showtime” host and Paola’s fiancee, Ryan Bang, became known for its horchata-inspired drinks.
While the shop will close its doors, Siesta Horchata said it will continue to operate through pop-ups and events until January 2026.
“We don’t know exactly what’s next, but we’re leaving with full hearts and deep gratitude,” the statement continued.
The announcement also fueled speculation online after fans noticed Paola had removed her engagement photos with Ryan, though both have yet to address the breakup rumor.
