James Reid has released his latest single, “Blessed,” a tender mix of R&B, gospel harmonies, and indie influences that he describes as a celebration of love and gratitude.
Out Friday on major streaming platforms, the track mixes English and Tagalog lyrics as Reid sings about finding a once-in-a-lifetime connection. One line goes, “Sa walong bilyong tao sa’ting mundo, nag-iisa ang isang tulad mo.”
The song carries a warm and organic sound, built on a mid-tempo R&B groove with gospel-inspired layers. Reid’s vocals, soft and earnest, drive home the track’s intimate and romantic tone.
The actor-singer said “Blessed” was born out of realizing how rare true love can be. The release follows his recent string of projects that highlight his evolution as one of the Philippines’ most versatile performers.
Reid’s team said the single is more than a love song, calling it a reminder of gratitude, faith, and human connection.
