For today’s digital-first audience, watching a show means engaging with emotion as much as with entertainment. That’s the core promise behind the return of iWant, ABS-CBN’s standalone streaming platform, which relaunched on July 9 with a fresh brand identity, new features, and a slate of emotionally charged originals.
With the theme “Unlock Your Feels,” the relaunch event held at the Dolphy Theater marked a new chapter in the company’s digital transformation, graced by ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, COO Cory Vidanes, and Chief Digital Officer Jamie Lopez, alongside creators, advertisers, and Kapamilya stars.
“As your digital home, iWant is where the stories you love meet all the feels you live. A place where we welcome all storytellers and all types of storytelling, and where we will continue to be of service to the Filipino,” said Lopez.
Originally launched in 2010 and later folded into iWantTFC in 2020, iWant now returns as a standalone platform for Philippine-based users. The service features a sleek new interface designed for smoother performance, sharper previews, and access across smart TVs, mobile phones, tablets, desktops, and even via Chromecast and AirPlay.
iWant head Jolly Estaris introduced the upgraded app to brand collaborators and agency partners, emphasizing its enhanced speed and mobile-first viewing experience.
One of the event’s highlights was the “Museum of Filipino Feels,” an interactive exhibit featuring iWant’s trending shows and most beloved titles. Among the upcoming exclusives are Ghosting starring Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra, MMK Director’s Cut, and the BINI Docuseries, with BINI World Tour Stories set to premiere in September.
Joining the event were the cast of Love at First Spike—Emilio Daez, Reign Parani, Sean Tristan, River Joseph, Andi Abaya, Dylan Yturralde, and Lance Reblando—as well as Kapamilya stars Shanaia Gomez and Kaori Oinuma, who will headline the upcoming iWant Originals series.

Actor Donny Pangilinan also joined the event, along with acclaimed Filipino directors Ivan Payawal, Red Ollero, and Rodina Singh, as well as broadcast journalist Jeff Canoy, who shared their new and upcoming series that will be available exclusively on iWant.
The platform will continue to offer titles from ABS-CBN Studios as well as select shows and films from GMA (outside the Philippines), Regal Entertainment, Viva, and independent partners such as MavX, The Fat Kid Inside, Project 8, Nathan Studios, and Kinetec.

“We want viewers to feel seen, heard, and represented. The new slate reflects stories that are closer to home—raw, emotional, and real,” said Jamie Ortega, head of Digital Content.
At only P35 per month, iWant is positioning itself as one of the most affordable streaming platforms in the country, tailored for audiences looking to laugh, cry, and connect in every viewing experience.
“This isn’t just about reviving a brand. It’s about reimagining how Filipino stories are told and felt in today’s digital world,” Lopez said.
