The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Sunday said it is continuing the digital forensic examination of the gadgets belonging to Sherra De Juan, a bride-to-be reported missing in Quezon City.
QCPD Director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said initial findings suggest that De Juan had been dealing with personal and emotional difficulties and possible financial concerns linked to her father’s medical condition and her upcoming wedding.
Her fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, however, denied the claim of financial distress, saying the medical expenses were covered by health insurance and that there was sufficient budget for the wedding.
Police said examination of De Juan’s laptop showed online searches related to medications, including queries about overdosing and their effects, conducted prior to her disappearance.
Silvio said the QCPD is treating the case with utmost seriousness and sensitivity and appealed to the public to report any information that could help locate De Juan.
