Philippine National Police (PNP) acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., has expressed full support for the newly signed memorandum of agreement (MOA) establishing the Pension and Deduction Loan Information System (PDLIS), a digital platform designed to modernize and safeguard the processing of benefits for police retirees and their families.
Nartatez said the PNP is closely working with the National Police Commission (Napolcom) to ensure smooth integration of pension and personnel data into the new system.
“We have to adapt, we have to transform in a digital world that we live in. Ultimately, our role is to make sure the system works seamlessly for the welfare and benefit of our retired personnel and their family,” he said.
This is to strengthen government-wide digital transformation and ensure transparent, reliable, and corruption-free delivery of public services, particularly for uniformed personnel who have dedicated their careers to national security, he added.
