DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon said Japan’s continued assistance will play a crucial role in accelerating the country’s infrastructure modernization and mobility improvements.

He added that the partnership will translate to stronger connectivity, enhanced trade and investments, and more economic opportunities for Filipinos.

Top officials from both countries attended the 4th Technical and Business Cooperation on Road Tunnel Construction workshop to strengthen technical cooperation and business linkages.

The partnership is expected to aid ongoing and future Japan-funded projects such as the Davao City Bypass and the proposed Dalton Bypass East Alternative Road.
